Mena Alexandera Suvari, born in 1979 is an American model, actress and fashion designer. She was born on 13 February 1979. Shortly after beginning her career as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing in guest roles on 1990's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She had her first film role in the 1997 drama Nowhere. Her performances as a character in American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated to get a BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned much attention and recognition, she was able to move into larger roles. She was in the film industry for a year, and was with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. In 2001, she took on the leading character for the role of Sugar & Spice (2000). Spun And Trauma the thriller film from 2004, was her second appearance. The year 2004, she starred on HBO's drama Six Feet Under. She received nominations for the Screen Actors Guild Award for 2005 in the category of Outstanding Ensemble. The filmography she starred in was Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh The version to The Garden of Eden and several other movies.
